I've got 550 dollars to buy some stock. Should I buy GE, DOW, AA, DRYS, or something else?

I bought some Smith & Wesson (SWHC) a while back and that is the only stock I have right now that had not gone down. It is up about 90% since i bought it. I wish i bought more.....

I have been watching AA, if it goes down to around 5 i will buy, i think it will...

also check out DCA, its priced very low and pays nice dividends...they just had a stockholder meeting and said they should be able to continue paying dividends quarterly.

Buy lead and brass it'll be worth much more than any stock you might buy in the future. Honestly though there is no safe haven in the stock market. Whats up today may be down tomorrow or unprofitable for so long as to make the stock purchase not worth while. If all I had was a few hundred dollars to squirrel away I would lean heavily toward silver coin. If you're really interested in the stock market though, read everything you can find and watch all the financial shows. There's more pitfalls in the stock market than you can believe.
I've lost a lot and I've made a lot in the stock market and I'm just getting to the point where I'm moving much more in a positive direction than a negative direction" Knock on wood". If you talk to anyone who tells you, you should definately buy XYZ stock, Pay no attention to them and immediately leave the room, a shit explosion is about to happen! Hope that helps! Good luck!
Oh and as far as these low dollar stocks like SWHC, RGR, RAD go, they generally pay no dividend which is a key indicator of a stocks worth. So don't get sucked in there.
