@The_Master_Shake I really don’t follow crypto miners. Only reason I play with RIOT is to sell puts for extra cash. I’m just copying moves off people I trust who have done extensive DD. Funny story: My uncle is an Edward Jones advisor. He asked what I was investing in. I told him I sell put options on crypto miners on margin. I think he threw up in his mouth a little. He no longer asks what I’m up to. |

It's one of my few big fuck ups as I went in heavy into CLSK maybe a year back but then got shook out at the first dip. I haven't been lucky with Crypto but at the same time want some exposure. I should have bought COIN when it was cheap |

Made a couple moves today with RKLB I thought I’d share. Sold (1) put contract for October 18th at the $9 strike price for $0.25. In layman’s terms I agreed to buy 100 shares next Friday for $9 / share and was paid $24.97 for the contract ($0.25 x 100) if the stock is below $9 next Friday and the contract gets exercised my cost basis will be $8.75 on those shares so I’m better off than had I just bought today at $9.50. If it doesn’t go below $9 I just got paid $25 for putting up the $900 as collateral for 8 days. Placed a limit order to sell (5) put contracts for November 15th at the $8 strike for $0.40. Similar math; if someone buys the contract I’ll get $200 ($0.40 x 100 x 5) for tying up $4k for a month. 5% return if it doesn’t get assigned, $7.60 cost basis on 500 shares if it does. Sounds much more complicated than it actually is. |

SpaceX Starship success this weekend. I was 50/50: Was this going to negatively impact RKLB as it shows how advanced and the big dog Spacex is so RLKB is worth less? or SpaceX showing "how easy" things are and RKLB could be "we can do it too!" with the stock price going up? |

Many SpaceX launches contain RKLB components because RKLB is not just a launch company but diversified into the large space industry. SpaceX success can also be RKLB success! |

This thing is going to $12. I'm getting in at the open. Order in: $10.06, 1,240 shares, Day-GTC. we'll see if it softens. I'm looking for 20% return in the next 365 days and then YoY. Edit 2: Order filled at 9:54. $10.08. Little late to the party but thinking they might ride some coat tails and go to the next level anyway. |

Good video by Vince on RKLB valuation and how future growth indicated by guidance could effect share price using current price to sales numbers. A bit dry but if you have skin in the game or are a math nerd like me it’s pretty interesting. ![]() RKLB Might be worth $25 today! My Updated Rocket Lab Valuation Model (Inc Space Infrastructure) |

My percentage gain on PLTR is over 3x RKLB but I’ve been in Palantir a lot longer. I bought and sold some RKLB around $5 selling options but didn’t start building my long position until it was around $7 so my cost basis isn’t the best. Have a feeling years from now no one will care if you got in at $5 or $11. |

PLTR has done amazing for me, but I got into PLTR in 2021 when it was in the mid 20's I'm proud of myself in that when I was significantly down I kept buying That being said, my DCA reflects my entry point |

Rocket Lab Stock Climbs As Biden Administration Plans To Ease Export Restrictions On Space Companies: What You Need To Know Benzinga 5:19 PM ET Oct-17-2024 Rocket Lab USA Inc (RKLB.NaE) shares are getting a lift in Thursday’s after-hours session following a report that the Biden administration will ease export restrictions on U.S. commercial space companies. What To Know: The Biden administration is planning to soften export restrictions on U.S. space companies to ship satellites and spacecraft-related items to allies, according to Reuters. Two people familiar with the matter reportedly said the moves are aimed at boosting sales for the commercial space industry in the U.S. while protecting national security. The report indicates that U.S. space companies such as SpaceX stand to benefit. The changes will also positively impact defense contractors with space units such as Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT.NaE) , Boeing Co (BA.NaE) and L3Harris Technologies Inc (LHX.NaE) . RocketLab USA also stands to benefit — evidenced by the bump in shares after hours — as an end-to-end space company focused on launch services, satellite manufacturing, spacecraft components and on-orbit management solutions. See Also: Elon Musk Says SpaceX’s Next-Generation Starlink Satellites Will Be ‘So Big That Only Starship Can Launch Them:’ Will Offer 10X Increase In Bandwidth And Reduced Latency Under the new export rules, certain spacecraft-related items will no longer require licenses to be shipped to Australia, Canada and the U.K. Less sensitive satellite and spacecraft components will no longer require licenses for shipment to more than 40 countries. The least sensitive items will reportedly be stripped of all license requirements. The report indicates the easing of restrictions is expected to help SpaceX expand its footprint as it works on completing its reusable next-gen rocket, Starship. RKLB Price Action: Rocket Lab shares were up 0.094% in after-hours, trading at $10.68 at publication Thursday, per Benzinga Pro data. |
