| Yeah, only good thing about this place is that the Sheriff will sign off on anything NFA. That's about the only thing that keeps me sane in this place. I did 3.5 years in Hawaii before coming here. What squadron are you in ? I know two K9 handlers from the 822nd SFS. |
| hey guys ive been wanting to join the security forces reserve and had a few questions if you guys could help. how far can you potentially go in rank in the reserve. is there a sign on bonus (not a big deal either way). my grandpa was in the airforce is there a way to get his records? he died before i was born and i was curious. what possible jobs besides just guarding bases are there? thanks |
| rank is a lot faster in the reserve it think, most reserve guys are younger and high ranking. i dont know much about it though. if you are in the reserve you will probley not have to guard bases stateside to much but you will delpoy and sit in a tower in iraq or on a gate for the the army and marines most like likey. its not the worst thing in the world. there are a lot of options in SF, if you like guns gos Catm, its the guys that work in the armory. |
