| Yeah after I asked that I found the Jtac guy I flew in with and we went to the sky box for pool and beer then crashed then I went to the pool, now I ask why cant I get these deployment options wth. Qatar aint that bad no wonder everyone likes it here when they come. |

Qatar aint that bad no wonder everyone likes it here when they come. dude............dont even get me started. i was in qatar for fuckin 19 hours. and we were only there cuz the damn plane shit the bed on the way out of that other fuckstick country i cant remember. fuckin..............uh..........i dont remember. shitty muslim infected rat hole i believe it was called. anyway i was so pissed after i saw the dairy queen, DFAC, pool and girls i walked around trying to get in a fight with the AF guys.  they have it so god damn good there. and its like they import all the hot girls to the damn pool. and that DFAC is the tits! but i digress, i also had a great time at manas AB in kygystan or however you spell that shit. 2 beers per 24 hours.
after shitty tours on tiny fobs eating MREs, shitting in a plasic fly trap and getting mortared and snipped at by johnny jihad id kill to go to qatar. but no. my pass was cancled each time. so i only get to see it coming and going. argh!!! id probably shoot myself from boredom after a month or so. anyway, be safe and come home in one piece! later oh and if youre AF, sorry.

I agree, this is definitely NOT a deployed location. Fucking nonners make me want to puke. Makes me want to punch them in the face when I hear them whine. A friend of mine was deployed here with the tankers a few years ago though, and compared the AF supervision here to Nazi Germany. Said it looks really nice from the outside, but their morale was in the toilet from work. But what's here, lets see.. Hottest women in the AF, you can drink, amazing chow halls, a movie theatre (The Expendables is playing tonight), a good gym... Everything here is nicer than home station, fuggedabout Afghanistan. My favorite things to do here when I pass through are play video games at the big bx (the one with a fountain in it at the end of that huge patio block walkway) or sit at the DQ and ogle the girls. I haven't been to the Fox Sports Lounge yet, gonna check that out later tonight. |
