Think about where your'e going...wheels + gravel = not so good.
You're going to war, not vacation. If you're going thru a CRC they will give you 5 duffel bags worth of crap and tell you to put it in 4 duffel bags and you get a computer-sized carry on. And yes, it's a bitch dragging your bags everywhere you go since you usually can't do it in one trip. HINT: Volunteer for baggage detail. |
| No rolling luggage and this include Pelican/Hardigg cases. The CRC detail will tell you this but you might as well pack now. Take nothing but duffel bags (you're military). And I concur, volunteer for bag detail... but I was different and was an individual augmentee so I flew alone. But the bag detail gets up early, but gets on last on the plane and usually has more leg room. |
