Here's a Jets fan hoping the Jets win too

10 left in the 4th. Jets up 10 -7. Could it happen? I hope so! Nothing would be better than having the Jets win, go to Indy and beat their asses again to teach them an important lesson. Lesson being " Never take the field unless you intend to play hard and play to win every second, of the entire 60 minutes! If you can't do that, don't even take the field!"

I know it's a long shot, but while I am typing the Jets just ran for another TD!

If they do beat us, I agree, I will have to chuckle at dickhead Ersay & dumbass Polian for exactly what you said. (Hopefully that does not happen)

yes...I'm no Jets fan by any means...but I would love to see Indy learn that lesson the hard way

I wouldn't mind for the two in charge to learn the lesson. The players, however, I would not wish this upon them.

I'm no fan of any team from NY, and my Cowboys got their asses handed to them by the Vikings today. But at least the Jets play hard every play.
I guess I'm going to have to pull for the Saints now.

They pulled it off!
Look out Indy, you should have put them away when you had the chance!

I'm happy for the Jets and their fans, but it is time to face reality.  They've had their playoff victory. The Jets' season ends vs the Colts.

You're probably right, but one can hope.

Believe it or not, I'm a real Peyton fan. Always have been, but I can't stand the thought of throwing a game for any reason. I too, blame the coach and team management, not the players. I just think the possible irony is too good to be true.

As a BIG Colts fan, I can say that I cannot fault you for this logic.

Manning is healthy & playoff gtg.  If he was injured in the Jets game, would you fault the logic of playing him when it wasn't necessary?  Sorry-I think coach made the right decision.

Who is to say he was more likely to get hurt in the second half versus the first? He is just as likely to get hurt on the first play versus the last.

If they really wanted to keep him healthy they wouldn't have started him at all.

Well, AFTER  the first play anyway. There is a very nice record he is working on there. I would imagine he would not let the consecutive start record fall if he has ANY say in it.

You may be right. Looks like the Colts finally got things clicking, but I am sure there was some concern in the locker room at half time.
