somehow someone lifted my warcraft account info and i am looking for help finding out how it was done, i ran spybot and adaware and didnt find anything. is there a decent software firewall i can use to monitor all traffic from this pc? also is there a packet sniffer or something i can use to monitor all traffic on my private network, i am running a mix of pc's wired through a switch to a router, and wireless with wpa encryption.
not worried about the cost, just want to find the holes in my system. |

Wireshark is the premiere OSS sniffer.
With everything being switch based these days it is difficult to sniff the traffic on the whole network unless your switch or router has a monitor port. Was your account info written down someplace a 'friend' may have found it? Was the password easy to guess? |
