I'm building my first PC, and was wondering if you could run down my parts list and tell me if there anything I should change or need to add. Thanks, Bobby Rosewill Mid-tower Case HiPro 580W Power Supply ECS Black Series A780GM-A A2+ AMD 780G ATX AMD Motherboard AMD Athlon 64 x2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz 95W Dual-Core Processor Two of PNY Optima 4GB DDR2 Dual Channel Memory Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive Samsung 22x DVD+R Burner w/ LightScribe Sabrent CRW-UNIB Card Reader I plan on making a back up disk of my current computer and just moving everything over, it's currently using XP-SP3. Comments? ETA: I forgot to add that this computer will be used most for high-volume web surfing, and as the dump for a lot my digital photos... |

If I have to I'll just buy XP-SP3 again, I'd prefer not to go Vista, I'm wanting to skip it and go straight to Windows 7. I'd also considering ripping my HD out of my current computer and using it as a secong internal HD for storage, I can't recall what make/model it is... I know it's vintage 2003... lol... |
