I'm looking to get a new router because I need a little more range than my old g speed one gives me.

In addition, I am probably going to network a mac with a PC forcing me to put my printer on a print server.

I just now realized that it may be possible to do both those jobs w/ the same piece of equipment.

Which one do you suggest?  Is the Apple Airport Extreme a good way to go?

Extreme at BB

Is there a cheaper way to go?

This one was rated high by cnet.com.  It has a USB, but I'm not sure if it will act as a print server.

If your Printer has built in Wireless all you need to do is configure it, with your Router.

Or just hook your printer up to any computer and enable printer sharing and any computer within your LAN can print to it.  No need to buy a special router.

Unless he is running 2 laptops and doesnt want to tether one to a printer.

I am looking at the same router for a mac/pc combination also.  The price isnt much more than a new router + separate print server.  If you get it, post a AAR of how it works.
