I just ordered up an ACER AS4730-4857 from Newegg and I am looking for a docking station/port replicator for it. I had an OEM docking station for my Toshiba and I really liked the flexibility it gave me, but unfortunately I can't find an OEM dock for the Acer. I am looking for suggestions for what I should be looking for since I like to use my laptop like a desktop at home, but I take it to work every day too.
Any suggestions that are reasonably priced are greatly appreciated. |

Your best bet is to contact Acer directly. Trying to find accessories is a pain in the *&^.
I would steer clear of "universal" docking stations. In my experience there is problems with USB connectivity, video and sound (There is always something missing or doesn't work quite the way it was designed) |
