[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Weird Logitech wireless keyboard problem

So all of the sudden, my keyboard starts acting erratic (I'm using the $10 back up keyboard). Some keys dont work, some have changed functions, like alt now brings my system to sleep mode. Its very weird. I cant figure out how to fix it. I searched logitech support and could not find anything. Maybe I'm missing something simple.

The model is S 510 keyboard and mouse combo.

Yes, and the latest version of that software.

I've been using it for over a month before this happened.

uninstall the software for the wireless keyboard > reboot > reinstall > plug keyboard back in

Did you replace the batteries in both and try re-connecting them with the re-connect button?

Is it likely another device is interfering with it? Wireless phone or something? Cell phone?

Also quite likely...any new toys you got recently? Could be on the same frequency...
