My employer bought me a 32GB flash drive, and here's what I'd like to do with it... I would like to have the option of booting it to any number of different ISOs resident on the drive (I envision having a boot menu with options to boot to BartPE, Knoppix (or some other LiveCD ISO), or the Ultimate Boot CD), plus have the ability to just use it as a drive, plus have a TrueCrypt volume on it. Space-wise, I don't think it'll be a problem. I'm thinking that ISOLINUX is the way to go with the boot, but I've not been able to figure out if it will support booting to an ISO. I know it will boot an IMG, but that's not quite the same. So, all you Linux types and anyone with killer flash drive kung fu, can you help me accomplish my goals? |
