If you are like me, and have your TV hooked up to your PC as part of a Multimedia Home Theatre set up, then you can avoid paying for a wireless ethernet adapter for your Xbox 360 by following these simple steps.

Hardware requirements:  Open Ethernet port on your PC/Laptop, Wireless Ethernet Connection to Network/Internet

Your Xbox 360 must be turned off for this if you run the cable from your ethernet port to your xbox 360 prior to taking the following steps.

Step 1:  Bridge your ethernet port and your wireless ethernet connection together, (the wireless ethernet connection should stay tied to your network/internet) allow for the wireless connection to renew it's dhcp lease.

Step 1 1/2:  Right Click on the Network Bridge Icon, uncheck and recheck the boxes for your Local Area Connection (ethernet port), and your wireless ethernet connection.

Step 2:  run cable from your ethernet port on your pc/laptop to your Xbox 360

Step 3:  test your connection to xbox live.  Move your PC/Laptop where ever you like.

So instead of buying a $99 adapter, you buy a $1500 pc? :)
