I want to use my tablet (Wacom) to make handwritten documents for my students' use.  It is easier for me to do formulae and graphics that way, but I want to share them online without scanning in.

I've thought of using a graphics program (with 8.5x11 "pages") but then I have to have a new document for each "page".

What I would like is a Word or Wordpad like document, that just gives me new 8.5x11 pages as I need them, and saves them as a document that I can then print.

Any good ideas?

why not use word? it's been tablet-aware since XP or 2003.

I have Office 2000.

Not really wanting to pop for the upgrade, since that's the single, only new feature I would need/use.

where do you teach? do they have MSDNAA? if so, office is usually $10 for students, staff, and instructors. If not, try the trial software from Microsoft and see if it works (use the browser-hosted version).

Unfortunately, nowhere I've taught or been a student has ever had that MS deal until after I leave.

I'll give the trial a go...looks like "OneNote" might be a solution, part of the current Office suite.

I've never used a tablet, but will Open Office work with it?
