Please Help me access Arfcom while in MX.

I just got back from NL, MX today - the whole time I was there I could not access Arfcom.  I tried from the hotel, the office, my friend's house, etc. and could not access the site. Weird because I could get on black-rifles.com, Bushie's site, and any other site I tried.

I have been to MX 3 times in the past month (20 days total) and it looks like I will be spending more time there.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

What does it do when you try to get here from MX?  Any specific error code would help.

Have you tried www.jobrelatedstuff.com or any of the other aliases?

It isn't just in Mexico. I just went from dial-up to Wildblue satellite internet and get this message constantly when using this site. It doesn't do it with other websites.

Network Error (tcp_error)

A communication error occurred: ""
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

It says standard error stuff - site is unavailable may be under maintenance, check with network administrator... (sorry I didn't bother to copy the error code)
I tried jobrelatedstuff.com and juanavilas.net and ak47.net to no avail.  I tried all sorts of links from google, etc and tried using my opera and explorer browsers.

Let's see if it's a name resolution problem.  In your brower's address field enter the following exactly and tell me what happens:  69.95.2.67

I'm guessing you aren't in MX right now . . ?

Correct - I am currently back in the USA.

It brought up jobrelatedstuff - I was supposed to do this in MX right?

Correct!  Quick lesson:

When you want to go to a web site you enter some type of name that is easy for us humans to remember, i.e. www.arfcom.com, www.yahoo.com, www.ilovebuttplugs.com.  The thing is that isn't really what your computer contacts.  They talk to each other using their IP address (four sets of number separated by periods) . . . think of it as your home address . . . they are all unique.  Since we humans ain't good at remembering tons of numbers web site names were created.  When you type in the name, your computer contacts a name server which gives it the IP address . . . that unique address that allows two computers to contact each other.  This is all called name resolution.

So you just typed in the IP address of our favorite little site.  Basically it removes a step in the process of the two computers talking to each other.  It will either confirm or rule out name resolution and help us narrow down the problem.

Update

I got back from MX last night.  The IP (major provider for the area) is DEFINATELY blocking ALL addresses for Arfcom.

I tried Vtunnel and Proxify to subvert the censorship.  Vtunnel worked better for me.  I tried to download free proxy software but I couldn't get it to work once it was installed. .  Also using Vtunnel I was not able to answer PM's from the site.

If anyone can recommend good (preferably free ) proxy software  - I would appreciate it.

Thanks

one thing you could do would be to have a PC in the states and connect via remote desktop.
