[ARCHIVED THREAD] - IE7 behavior

What is going on with IE7? When I'm browsing websites ie will open a new tab on it's own.

Example....When browsing AR15.com, sometimes IE will open a tab to a sponsors website, other times it will open to another section of AR15.com. It seems to be random.

Is this just a new way to get around popup blockers??

Can I put a stop to it?

IE 7 is a piece of shit...uninstall it and ull be better off. besides. use mozilla firefox, its free, more secure, and better all around...im alittle anti-microsoft though

my suggestion would be to disable tabbed browsing.. go to the control panel. open up internet properties. click tabs toward the bottom of the page. then at the top turn off tabbed browsing

middle mouse button.

edit: u use the middle mouse button to scroll(push and move mouse) but if its over a link it will open in a new tab
