Im throwing the idea around of getting a modchip for my xbox mostly so I can store my games to the hard drive and music etc. I have no idea what to get and who makes good packages. I was looking at some packages that have everything you need( chip and harddrive). Anyone have any knowledge about modchips for the xbox?

You may also want to try "softmodding". Allows you to save games to harddrive, etc. without soldering in a modchip. Google "softmod xbox", you should find plenty of tutorials

Look up xbox on your local craigslist site and I bet you'll find someone who does the modding for you.
