I'm running a Windows XP laptop on wifi through a LinkSys wireless router/AP. I'm trying to setup IRC through Trillian to connect to EFNet, but I keep having my connection closed by the servers I try. The reason is usually "no identd." Trillian is configured to use identd, and I've configured the router to not filter identd on port 113. I've also configured/disabled the personal firewall on the machine. However, I keep having identd issues. A month or so ago I had no issues connecting to EFNet using XChat on Linux. Any ideas? |
