Simply put: got home and tried several times to get it to boot up, it finally didm. Then it did a blue screen of death memory dump and now it won't boot period. It turns on but the screen has no signal, my usb keyboard doesn't light up, etc but the fan is running so i know the computer is on.

Thanks

Re-seat your memory and any cards you have, check your cables, try again.

If you've got more than one stick of RAM, try them one at a time and see if you get anywhere. Without knowing a whole lot about your setup it sounds like a bad motherboard.

Could be the power supply as well. Did you BIY or is it a corporate built machine? If so, what is the make/model?

I had a hard drive get stuck once. Took it out of the mount and when power on I rotated it in my hand and it started.

I shuffled the computer around a bit. Shook it enough and after checking the ram and looking for burn marks i tried turning it on again. Working fine now. Mobo?

Could be simple as poor connection for one of your components because of corrosion of heating/cooling cycles.  Take a look at the reliability history and see if anything shows there (it probably won't).
