Been without a Laptop or PC now for about 1.5 years. Everything i've done device wise was on my iPhone or iPad ! Got some bills straightened out and was able to get my first good setup, Alienware Aurora with dual 27" LG 4k UHD displays.

Planning to do some serious Video editing and possibly some gaming.

Any suggestions for Video editing software or a good gaming forum?

Adobe Premiere is the de facto standard for PC video editing.
