Some of the younger guys were talking about Facebook at work and think it's great. Me, I think it's evil and the greatest tool for whomever wants to investigate you. So I started an account with very basic info, some of which is totally false like my name.  I haven't even searched for anyone and I looked at the "people you may know" and I know a bunch of the people.  The people I know are either ones I've called, work at places I've called and a couple I even work with. Very bizarre, or is it?  Is this just a weird coincidence or is Facebook truly as evil as I always knew and is hacking my phone.

I'm not using the app either. I've never even logged into the App Store on this phone.  Two of the guys I know are in my contacts but only one of those numbers are a smart phone.  None are in my email contacts.

I'm not sure how they would get that info from my email since I didn't use my email to sign up and I've never emailed any of those guys. Regardless, how does one block them from snooping in your shit?

Could be the app on other people's phones seeing that you have called them.

Facebook has had an account for you and has been tracking you for years.  You just didn't know about it.
