Ok, guys, I am getting ready to replace my GF's phone (mostly) because the charging port is buggered.  It's messed up because she constantly sleeps with it on the bed with her, and flexes the charger and port joint.

So, on the new phone, I would like to get her a wireless charging pad so she does not have this problem again.  I also would not mind the same thing, since my new phone has a port cover that is a PITA.

The phones I have gotten are a Note 2 (hers) and a S5.  The problem I have is that there are 6 million different options, and I am having a problem sorting out the deals from the crap.  I am pretty sure the $2 adapters direct from China probably aren't a good idea, but I also don't like the idea of having to pay more for the kit than I did for the phone, so I need educated.  Help?

I've had several Qi chargers, and I can highly recommend the TechMatte wireless Qi charger and the Spigen 3 cell charger. Both of these charge up my phones without causing the phone to overheat and are fairly flexible with positioning of the phone

Just search on Amazon and buy one with good reviews. It is essentially a coil of wires so it's pretty difficult to screw up. The note 2 you will have to buy a pad like thing to place inside the back cover. You can get the same thing for the S5 or you could buy the official Samsung wireless back cover. The majority of the pad sold are QI standard so make sure you get a QI charger. Ravpower makes a battery bank with a QI charger built in.
