While what you're saying is pretty much true, the several I knew about 10-12 years ago were badasses. ETA: but they were already badasses who just happened to be CISSPs, not because of the cert. CISSPs nowadays... not so much. Dime a dozen. |

I have quite a few security related certs including CISSP.
It's easy to horde a lot of resources and have too much information for the exam. If I had to go back and do it again based on what I know now I would use the following items: The latest Shon Harris book, the paid version of the cccure practice questions, and the CISSP for dummies book. As a bonus you may want to track down the Shon Harris mp3 files to listen to as well. |
