Ramping up for my second semester back in school, and Iooking at the Microsoft One Note product.
I currently use a PC laptop, but have an iPhone and iPad Mini and was looking for some note taking applications and this looks promising. The iOS app is free, so I am downloading it now. Any feedback or experiences shared would be most appreciated! |

I have it on my work computer, really nice to share with coworkers via a shared folder.
If you copy/paste from a website it is smart enough to put a link back to the original page for you, pulls Office content natively and while preserving formatting. No clue on how it works on a mobile device. |

I use it daily at work and at home. I have it synced to my Skydrive account so I can access the same data from anywhere. Skydrive also has the built in web version so it's easy to access the data even when you're on a machine without the app installed.
I love it. I use it to track work projects or just general work info that I don't use daily and have trouble remembering. I copy handy PowerCLI or Powershell one liners in there for quick reference. I find it pretty useful. |

I have no opinion on Evernote. I'm looking for a cross platform solution for personal organization for school. Thanks the comments OneNote is ok. I've used it in the past and had little issue with it. Where Evernote really shines is cross-platform capabilities. There is a native client for nearly everything (except Linux) and they have a web-based console as well. |

I've always used it because I've had Office Pro. Skydrive has made it easier to use. Quoted:
