Please help. I'm running in safe mode. Java updated last night, and I think that's what's crashing Windows 7. I can't uninstall it from safe mode, and if I start it up normally, it runs so slow that I can't shut down Java or uninstall it.
I tried a system restore, but there's only one restore point available, and it didn't work. What can I do? |

It took a lot of troubleshooting, and a couple dozen restarts, but I seem to have my laptop running properly again.
It wasn't Java, it was that dumb Intel turboboost gage thing. I had to rename the folder in safe mode, reboot in normal mode, change the folder name again, and uninstall the silly thing. |
