While I use their stuff and it works alright I think they overcharge for it and their Indian support centers are a joke. I'm not giving them any more money then I have to.

I've only ever spoken to US based support, but I haven't had to call in a while.  Wonder if that's changed.

Went the last two years but changed jobs 3 months ago so I won't make it this year.  My director is out there though.  No idea why, it would better serve the guys that actually do the work.

No kidding!

Have seen that kind of crap before.

Your director wants to network and find another job.  :)

So far, I have been dismayed at how little info is presented in the "deep dives". And the hands-on lab that I did was so simple that it was ridiculous.  Hopefully things get better.

Yeah, the VMware training disappoints big time, glad I didn't s[end my money on their training.

The training I had from ESXlabs was better and more relevant than what I got from a VMware authorized class. Although, I was very impressed with the instructor, he was top notch, and a contractor to VMware.

Well, I had one really good, awesome session on Wednesday, and two really good ones on Thursday.  Combined with the little tidbits that I got here and there during the rest of the week, and info I got from meeting with vendors and manufacturers, it turned out alright.

The vSGA stuff is... well, very, very cool.  I got to watch 12 stations playing Borderlands, running off of two hosts, each with one Quadro card.  Not bad.

Now, of course, one of the last vestiges of VDI that can really be a pain is Flash performance.  I asked if this would allow hardware-accelerated Flash, and was told that it would.  That will make me (and a lot of other people) happy.
