Which one is better for home use. I plan on getting one tomorrow.

Laser is worth it... if you don't need color it's even pretty cheap. |

Laser is worth it... if you don't need color it's even pretty cheap. And I will add another vote for laser. I had inkjet and if I didn't print every week, the ink got clogged and I had to to replace the cartridge. This was usually on a new cartridge as I only printed every once in a while. The only reason I kept mine so long was I got the ink for free. |

| I was fed up with ink going dry or not lasting very long, hell, the ink is just as expensive as the printer itself, anyway, I bought a Samsung Color Laser CLX-3175FN, reconditioned for less that $200. That was over 2 years ago and I finally bought toner for it. If it were me, I'd get the Brother Laser Printer above since you don't need color. |
