I have a HP laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit.  Yesterday my wife opened a email that potentialy had a virus.  I ran my virus scanner, malwarebytes, and cc cleaner. They all did their job as far as i can tell. But every since this problem originated my start menu is jacked up, meaning there isnt one. I googled and found on thing that showed how to get it to save the recently opened programs. which it now is.  But it doesnt have the list of iptions tot he right of the program list thats shows "My documents" "My pictures" and so forth.  Any help would be appreciated.

I've seen a virus just hide the documents.  All I had to do was find the folder and un-hide them.
