Just registered for VMworld 2011! It's in Vegas this year, and I've never been so it should be fun. Unfortunately it's 3 months away.
Anyone else plan on attending? Last years was great, lots of good info presented. |

I emailed my boss about it on Wednesday and the CEO approved it that day. I expected it to take a few weeks at least. Coworker and I were surprised as hell they approved it so fast so we registered and booked the flight immediately and filled out expense reports that have already been signed and sent to AP. |

VMware management (and, as of last month, VDI) constitutes a pretty big chunk of my job, but my boss always frowns on conferences in places like Vegas. I'm lucky enough our upper management understands the benefits of conferences like this. Especially since we are expanding out VM infrastructure. Just installed a Cisco UCS. I saw it for the first time at VMworld last year. It took 6 months to get approved but the thing is freaking awesome. |
