Currently have the Palm Pre.

Software is fine, it's the hardware that is going out on me. Headphone port doesn't work all the time anymore, which is a great frustration at work.

Will be switching to Android (Sprint Evo 4g) when a local shop has a good sale on them.

Wait if out on the I phone for a few months from Verizon.

The new I phone 5 will be out in a few months, and just pick it up instead of being saddled with the 4 for the next two years.

And to note: with the I phone being CDMA, it can not do calls and internet at the same time (read tether it will not allow you to receiver incoming calls at the same time).

And why the I phone, you jailbreak it, then you can downloads apps directly from your computer, instead of having to pay for just about every useful app that you have to download from a  internet store.

My Motorola Droid X works fine.

Work provided me an HTC Incredible, it's not that bad either.
