I've finally decided to move from Vista to Windows 7 on my main desktop machine. I'll be installing the full version (vs Upgrade) of whichever edition I choose. I mostly use my system for gaming and programming. I also want to be sure that I can use Remote Desktop to my other windows boxes as well as mounting drives across the network. Which edition should I choose? |

This link might help I always install premium on all mine it does everything youll need. I dont really see the need to shell out more money for pro or ultimate. Also you can save a few bucks through new egg if you buy a system builders copy but there is no tech support from microsoft you as the builder are your own support & you wont be able to use it on a diffrent computer down the road. |

Which edition should I choose? Gaming, programming and RD, you should bite the bullet and get Ultimate or you will just be disappointed later. |

Google hasn't really given me the answer to this question. |

Enjoy I know I was a happy man when I finally ditched vista. |
