I run Firefox 3.6.10 at home and at work. The machines behave differently.
At home, images on a webpage are automatically scaled down to fit the screen. For example, if some posts in an AR pic thread an images that's 2048x1536, Firefox automatically scales it down to 1024x768. My machine at work won't do this. I've tried messing with the browser.enable_automatic_ image_resizing selection in about:config, and it didn't work. My university uses Google mail. When I click the link for it via the University website at work, it goes to Gmail. When I click it at home, it constantly refreshes saying "loading Gmail". Thoughts on how to rectify these problems? I want image scaling and access to Gmail. Thanks! |
