I need advice.....

I need to transfer / clone a Windows Xp Pro operating system with all data intact to another bare bones computer. I know I can clone the drive, but it will not work because all the hardware changes. Is there some type of  software that will do this easy?

This is legit as the old computer will no longer be used.

Thanks in advance....

You can move xp to another computer but when it sees that the pci bus controller in the motherboard's chip-set is different, it will freak out and you'll spend at least 15 minutes redoing ALL* the hardware device drivers.
Edit: have the chipset/motherboard drivers and the network drivers ready before you move it to new computer.
* Even the mouse be redetected...

could clone the drive and do a repair reinstall
we did that when my brother upgraded his pc
had to reactivate windows over the phone but other than that it was good. all his apps and games stayed installed and functional as did his windows settings
