| I picked up two Cisco 1900s today for a personal project I'm working on. I can't find my DB9 to RJ45 adaptor. Haven't used it in years, and haven't done much with cisco in years. Is there a way i can connect to the console port without that adaptor? crossover or straight through Cat5 cable? I already checked local stores, and no one has the adaptors in stock. |

I think Sun Console cable adapters work as well (the silver ones). This link might help roll your own.

Try this website to make your own patch cable (regular crossover cables and straight through wont work).
