I have a bunch of family photos that need to be scanned of all various sizes. I'm hopefully looking at staying close $200 . What model and brand does the hive mind recommend.

I keep reading people's reviews and it looks like somebody has a problem with something on every scanner i look at. Thanks

I hate scanners. I have never had one that I thought scanned a photo, and had good results. Right now I am using a cannon Canoscan Lide something or other, and I think it sucks. Good luck, and that my .02 cents.
