How much would that cost. I have a D70s, and a D50, and would love to do some work like that. those shots are absolutely amazing.

All you need is an R72 filter to attach to one of your lenses.
I have done nothing to my camera.
The first step is to compose your photograph, using a tripod, and with no filters attached.  The filter is almost completely opaque, so composition and focus must be done beforehand.  You must then screw the filter on without altering your lens focus or zoom settings.  The tripod is necessary make very long exposures, possibly several seconds in length.

You can use a R72 filter or you can modify the camera itself.

If you want to modify, here is some info. The cool thing about modding the camera is that you can hand hold IR shots and you don't need an opaque filter.
