I bought myself a D7500 for Christmas, my first DSLR. I decided to get up early on New Year's Day and watch the sun rise at a local state park. This was my first time out with a "real camera" so all constructive criticism gratefully received! I decided to book end the day by trying to capture the moon. These were my favorite shots of each:

Attached File I love how the timing just worked out in this one...a V-22 right over the American flag on the Brooklyn Bridge, with the staten island ferry in the foreground. Probably couldn’t intentionally get that shot if you gave me 1,000 years to do it
