Well I'm getting into this photoshopping thing and it's pretty fun. I can do all sorts of things to a pic. My question is, how do I take an object from one pic and paste it onto another? For instance, how do I remove someones head from one pic and carry it over to the other pic. Do I have to have both pics open at the same time?

I'm just using good old Microsoft Paint.

I suggest you locate a copy of Paint Shop Pro or even Photoshop. Good ol' Paint is severly limited when you want to do that kind of thing. I haven't opened Paint in forever.

Trace it with the lasson tool or the  clipping path tool,
copy and paste. Its that simple.
Or use the cloning tool. Have both images open at the same time.
On the subject you want to copy, click on the starting area, click on the other image,
make a new layer, and start cloning. Then flatten
the image when you are done so you can save it
as a Jpeg.

Doubt you can do it with MS Paint.

Here's a quick Photoshop tutorial.
