I've never done much with B&W except a quick change in Aperture. |

Lightroom has quite a few presets, and the same B&W preset will look different if you make some major adjustments to the color image first, like bleach bypass or cold tone. I stink trying to use sliders for doing monochromes, so I've been experimenting with using the filters/ presets in combos and making adjustments to taste. |
