Looking to upgrade my old camera. Mainly used for hiking trips.

I'm not very tech savvy.  Features I'm looking for:

-easy to use

-mostly for landscape pictures

-sub $500

-Decent battery life

-doesn't have to be super light weight, but non bulky is a plus

Thanks

ETA camera now is a old school Kodak easyshare

Canon S95

Very capable camera in a small package.

Just be aware it doesn't have a viewfinder, if that's important to you.

G12 is also quite nice, but a bit bulkier.

If you are interested in something a bit durable this would be good:

I would probably buy a Canon G12, I have the older G9 and it's a fantastic camera. It is a little bigger, but it's also nice to have more to hold on to.
