Blended and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro.

As always, C&C is welcome. I will say this, Photomatix likes to add noise in dark spaces (which is irritating and I can't figure out how to avoid it while maintaining the tone mapped look).

And some non-HDR stuff I took...

Nice shots!  At first, I wasn't nuts about the PP and filters you used in thef irst six, but the ones with the neon really work with it well.  I like 'em!  I need to get out and do more night photgraphy.

Noise in dark areas are a result of the way sensors are.

The program is attempting to brighten up (extremely, I might add) the dark/black areas, which shows off the noise. The right (bright) side of your histogram contains most of the information, and the left (dark) side of your histogram is extremely lacking in information. This makes sense as (most of the time) we focus on the brighter areas, as those are the ones we can see. However, when you start upping exposure, you really notice the lack of detail.

For a little more info (if you care) about how and why this works, as well as a good suggestion on how to minimize this, the following article explains some of that: Expose to the right

Thanks for the info on noise. I'll look into it when I get the chance.
