Hey guys, I'm about to leave for boot camp, so my gear won't be touched for about 6-months, should I do anything different about storage? I assume I should remove all the batterys, but is it okay to leave it all in my gear bag? Thanks, Bobby |

Yes your gear bag is fine as long as its kept in a DRY place.
Keep it in a DRY place. Fungus can ruin a good lens. Pull batteries. Pull out any leather straps. These tend to bread fungus if conditions are right. Other than that stay safe & get through boot & get some!!11! Oh did I say keep your gear DRY. I lost a nice Nikkor 300mm f4.5 ED IF lens to fungus. It only took 4 weeks in my apartment while I lived in FL. 7mm |
