| Anyone still play BF2? I spent hundreds of hours playing each of the games in the series as they came out. I just saw EA released a final patch (1.5) for BF2. The last patch was several years ago!!! |
. It pings pretty good for me and there are usually a bunch of people on that understand a little of the teamwork concept.

I don't play vBF2 –– nor do I understand what possessed me to buy it.
I almost exclusively play Project Reality –– which is everything vBF2 should have been. ;) I'm a small time contributor to the mod, and I would love to see new players. /shameless plug -REad |

I play AIX2, using the BFSPCC to launch. I am just a loner. Unfortunately it doesn't unlock weapons because I haven't figured out the database to track score  .

I have BF2 running on Vista 64 with no problems. If I remember correctly, I installed it in another directory other than the default and I think I have it running with admin status or whatever that bullcrap's called you have to do to get things to run with Vista. I still play this game daily and I have all the cod series & 2142. I just like BF2's big maps since I like to find a good hiding spot, chill out and snipe people. I'm usually not in the mood for spawn, kill a guy, die, spawn, kill a guy etc. |
