I haven't bought a new game since Christmas, I understand now the new dashboard is out with some kind version of the Wii's me avatars of some kind(I honestly don't know what they call them for the 360) My question is simple. If I go out a and buy a new game now do I have to have the new dashboard in order to play the game? I don't think that would be a problem. I curently have the old dashboard, I only have dial up, if that is the case....I'm in a real pickle.

As Yapper so eloquently stated, you don't need the update for single player games.
Generally, console games will ship with any updates required to play them right on the disc. Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo understand that many people don't network their consoles. -James |
