Just got it today, feeling kinda ripped off.
I loved every game in the Command & Conquer series so far, especially Red Alert 2. So I figured that this would be pretty sweet, good old Red Alert in the nifty C&C3 engine. What could go wrong? For starters, they turned it into a fucking cartoon. Red Alert 2 wasn't realistic in any way, and kinda b-moviesh, like a Sci-Fi channel movie. But they weren't completely cartoonish like RA3 is. The Allies have a helicopter with a freeze ray, that can shrink enemy tanks. What the hell. And they packaged it with SecuROM, which is probably the second worst thing to come from Austria, other than Hitler. 
Oh well, I can't really return it now that I've installed it, but I can hope. |
