Just got a new system with a 64 bit dual core proc. etc... Why cant I run BF2 on it? Vista system 2.16 Dual core 2048 MB RAm 500g HD 256 Graphics I cant figure it out |
You got all of that from "why can't bf2 run on it?"
BF2 will play just find on that system, provided you have a decent video card. Tell us exactly what is happening and any messages, and we'll get you on the battlefield in no time. -d |
Was that your onboard video card or add-in card? The 950 isn't "bad" per say, but it really isn't meant to power games like BF2.. although it should still run it, just at lower graphics settings. Have you tried updating the drivers for it? -d |

It is the graphics card......I have a similar onboard card and it would not run BF2 of BF2142. Upgraded to the GeForce 7900GS and I have no more problems and run the game at 4x antialiasing and max settings. with vista you also need to right click on the BF icon and go to properties select "Run as an Administrator" or you will have lag and punkbuster issues. |
