No matter what AirSoft gun you get, training should be #1 on your mind! The Absolute best airsoft training you can get is by playing Counter Strike.

You'll not get any love around here for airsoft, there's an irrational hatred it seems, lol.

From what I've read around the net, the Cyma AKs are pretty good guns as far as Chinese airsoft guns go.  The CM 031 is supposed to be about the best for affordable chinese AEGs, and should compare pretty well with Tokyo Marui AEGs.  All of the gearbox parts can be swapped out if you plan to upgrade or something wears out, I think the hopup is about the only thing that isn't TM standard, but I don't think most have a need to swap that out.  For $100ish and pretty common parts it's hard to go wrong w/ the Cyma guns.

A buddy of mine snagged a CM 028 a couple weeks ago, and has liked it so far.  It has most of the same internals as the 031 I believe.  I tried it out briefly just kicking some cans around and junk and it felt pretty decent, especially for $100ish.  It shot as well as my stock TM M733 did when I had it.  The owner played in one big game so far w/ the CM 028 and it worked well.  I think I'll pick up either the CM 031 or the 028s (underfolder) for myself.  Like I said, for $100 it's cheap enough not to matter.  I got rid of my TM AEG a couple years ago when I wasn't playing much anymore, the chinese guns look like a good way to get into/back into it for cheap...

Ok well thanks for telling me that...I was starting to think that buying it might have been a mistake. Ya and I know about how people on arfcom or some people hate airsoft...but I dont care what they say about it...from when I played it was really fun and cheaper than paintball.

Airsoft under the right uses in training there is nothing wrong with.  I just ordered a WE High Capa 5.1 M 1911 to train with.  I think what some of the "bitching" is about is when people want to use airsoft accessories on their defense weapons.

Funny thing is a lot of the airsoft guys use real gun parts, I have seen some M4 AEG equip with real ACOGs, real Rail systems (knights GGG etc), surefires.. and they all wearing real BDUs. I have even seen people wearing real night vision googles in night game.

For real firearms, I have seen people in range with a 40dollars Tasco Scope on a Widowmaker once, what are the people thinking these days?

AEG is quite fun for training sometimes, but let say to hell with those hi-cap magazines.. 300rounds, thats like everyone have a belt-feed SAW.

I think what People are bitching about is how Airsoft copies alot of the Firearms Market, so buying a used Product brings in fear of possibly buying a POS Airsoft Part and getting screwed by paying for the real item. There have been plenty of times that people have bout what they thought were real ACOGs off of Ebay and ended up getting a Toy. Maybe thats why I don't buy used and I am careful where I buy from, but still.
