Is there a way to get the stuck tray open without breaking it?

Thanks.

I got one open with a screwdriver once.

I remember looking for it, but I could never find the little backup release hole.  Just be careful

I havent had this problem yet.  If I find something online about it, I'll edit this post.
Try a screwdriver...but go slowly.
Have you called sony about it?  They may have a better way.

I know your not having the reading disc problem. But, this may help with taking you PS2 apart.

That is not a bad idea.  We could set it up as a target the next time we go shooting.  My son, since it's his PS2, could take the first shot.
