| I am sick and tired of all the MORONS that run in front of your speeding Humvee, get in front of your tank, or better yet when you are the commander and send in arty they all run into it and then "punish" you for the team kill!!!! I think we need to e-mail EA Games and get rid of this hideous feature they put into the game. It doesn't do what they intended!! |
Is there any way to remove friendly fire damage? If UT2004 had this set on default, there'd be so many team kills it wouldn't be funny. |
Aren't you a sweetheart....  Unfortunately stupidity extends from the real world to the online world. Mistakes happen and people who don't forgive are asses. Try to say sorry and what not and they don't seem to care. It happens, just have to be careful at who you're shooting. |

The other night I had a guy who would bail out of the helicopter as it was flying only to get killed by it in mid air and award me with the fucking TK, then he'd punish me. I swear to god, some fuckhead does that again to me while I'm flying and has the balls to get back into the helicopter to try it again, I'm flying right towards a damned cliff full speed to throw it into an unrecoverable pitch then I'll bail out and let him kill himself. There are assholes out there who get their rocks off doing nothing but making people get accidental TKs so that once the person who racks up the TKs is kicked off the server the little bastards can then have free access to the vehicles they wanted. I'm done with it and if it takes sinking to their level so that I can hopefully get them to TK me so that I can punish them and get them off the damn server, so be it. |

I have it happen sometimes... annoying but I get over it quick..... There are enough servers out there to just move on. I usually bounce around 4-5 servers before finding a good one to play on. Once there was one guy who was repairing my LAV when an OpFor T-90 came around the corner. I reacted by backing over the engineer... Ooops.... Not only did he NOT punish me, but when he respawned, he went back to repairing my vehicle. There are some good guys who play... So don't get your panties in a bunch over some idiots... I personally think the Punish/Forgive option is a good idea. Previous versions you would just get charged with the TKs regardless. |

I hate it when I accidently TK somebody and am grateful when somebody knows it's a true mistake and forgives me, heck if I accidently TK somebody I figure I deserve to be punished. But what I absolutely hate are the people who go around doing things that wind up getting you an unavoidable TK and then they purposely punish you all as a part of a concious effort to get you kicked/banned from the server. THAT is what makes me want to beat the ever loving shit out of some of these idiots. I don't like getting kicked off of GOOD servers because these people are a plague on the game. |
That would suck... I haven't experienced any of that, yet... but then you have many more hours than me
