Does anyone have KOTOR 2 yet. If so is it worth it? Is it as good as the first? What is game play and replay value you like? Gamelength? |

Uh, this shouldn't be out yet unless it's got decidedly different release dates for consoles than it does for the PC. Release date for the PC is slated as 2/08/05. And I'm gonna get it as soon as it comes out, the first KOTOR was absolutely great. I will wind up playing it one more time before KOTOR2 comes out, I played it all the way through as a light side male and have a save game that is about 1/4 way through as a dark side. It will likely take about 16 hours or so to play through KOTOR if you play it through straight, longer if you create save points at critical decision making points so that you can explore the various different dialogues for purposes of seeing what kind of laugh you can get or whether it will award light side or dark side points. KOTOR 2 is suppose to be even bigger, don't be surprised if you are looking at 24 or more hours of game play. And that is for one force side and sex, the plot and dialogue in KOTOR changed depending on if you were male or female or if you were strongly dark or light oriented. Essentially you can have 4 different gaming experiences within the same game if you are dedicated to fully exploring the story lines. I hear the really fun race to play is the dark side female in the original KOTOR but I don't know if I can stand to play through a 3rd time. |
XBOX console gets a 3 month head start on the PC version. KOTOR 2 was released a few days ago. |
